Owned by the Straker family since 1868, the West Wing has been elegantly renovated by the current generation. It features a private entrance through a dedicated garden, welcoming guests into a grand entrance hall with original parquet floors, an intricately carved staircase, and vibrant interiors designed by Birdie Burnell. Birdie, who has lived at Stagshaw House with her family since 2019, has played a significant role in updating the main house, and her love for antiques and historical heirlooms is evident throughout the property.

The sunlit kitchen and dining area exude rustic elegance, while the sitting room boasts exquisite hand-painted Chinoiserie wallpaper, a beautifully carved fireplace, and sweeping garden vistas framed by 12-pane windows.
