If you can’t contemplate saying ‘I do’ without having your beloved pooch in the wedding party, then you’ll love Langley Castle’s new doggy chaperone service provided by Mukki Pups Pawfect Days.
You can choose how many hours you want your dog to be present, whether or not you want them to just have a brush and spray or a full bath and blow-dry before the wedding, and bespoke packages can also be created.
Your dog will be chaperoned for the photos, which at Langley Castle can be in the glorious woodlands, on manicured lawns, in front of the stunning castle building, or even on the 1350 battlements. Collection and delivery of your pooch, pre- and post-event, is included, and pre-wedding chemistry sessions are also built in.
Wedding and events co-ordinator, Katie Livingstone-Evans Lowes, says: “We love to see well-behaved dogs at Langley Castle weddings, and, in fact, I had our family dog, George, at my own wedding here. The key thing is to ensure that they feel relaxed and don’t get bored. By providing them with a chaperone with whom they have already become familiar, you can make sure their tail is wagging all day without putting the onus of looking after them on any friend or family member who just wants to enjoy the wedding.”
