Langley Castle Hotel, to which couples from across the country flocked to say their vows when civil marriages first became possible, is already getting many enquiries about vow renewal ceremonies linked to big anniversaries.
Many enquiring couples are currently focused on celebrating their 25th or 20th anniversaries or planning 30th anniversary occasions in 2025. To ensure these can be as special as possible, Langley Castle is putting special focus on its renewal of vows offering.
The castle says a vow renewal ceremony can not only make the perfect statement about a couple’s long-lasting relationship but also potentially help friends, not in attendance at the original wedding, to tick something off their bucket list.
Langley Castle’s renewal of vows ceremonies are typically held in its gorgeous drawing room, with its beautiful chandeliers and beautiful windows. This stunning arena is just perfect for vow renewals, in terms of both size and atmosphere.
The castle’s weddings and events coordinator, Katie Livingstone-Evans Lowes, says, “Our renewal of vows weddings can be as simple or as grand as couples desire. They can make a special re-commitment privately or renew vows in front of guests, who can enjoy food and other entertainment. It’s entirely up to personal preference, and we can arrange virtually anything, from alpacas to bagpipe players or just champagne for two served in our summerhouse.
“Our elopement ‘weddings for two’ are very moving occasions, but the renewal of vows ceremonies give even those a good run for their money when it comes to emotions. We love seeing two people demonstrate just how much love they still have for each other. The ceremonies can be very special, no matter how many people are present."
The castle is also planning an anniversary countdown event for April 2024, one year ahead of when the first 30th Langley Castle wedding anniversaries will be falling.
