Bowburn Hall is a brick building that was originally a private home. Offering an exquisite combination of traditional country house charm and 21st-century opulence, current owner Ramside Estates has extended the accommodation into the hotel’s grounds with the addition of five new garden lodges.

Available to hire exclusively as a wedding venue for the whole day, the hotel’s stunning ballroom makes for a memorable ceremony and reception space, capable of hosting 160 wedding breakfast guests and up to 250 in the evening. The ballroom also opens out onto landscaped gardens, perfect for drinks and canapés in the sun.

In the summer months, you can exchange your vows under an ornate garden pagoda, as up to 160 of your friends and family look on from the seating on the wedding lawns. For the younger guests, the garden also has an extensive play area.
