South Causey Inn provides nearlyweds with a traditional countryside wedding set in the beautiful Beamish Valley. With four completely different wedding spaces available, the venue can cater for intimate weddings to a large full-day bash.

The Old Barn is separate from the main hotel and is a truly splendid space for ceremonies (150) and receptions (200) with wooden floors, original beams and classic features. Or why not opt for the spacious Durham Suite and say ‘I do’ with 100 people and celebrate afterwards with 150? It was once a stone stable block and has been converted into a bright space with access to a private garden plus an outdoor tipi-style seating area with heaters and fur throws.

The 150-year-old stone Farmhouse with exclusive grounds is also a fantastic option for 80 loved ones. Arrive via a private driveway and enjoy the private bar, civil ceremony area, function rooms and six en suite bedrooms.

Another reception space is The Beamish Barn for more intimate weddings and celebrations of up to 45 guests. It boasts original wooden beams, rustic wooden floors, natural lighting and a roaring log fire.
